When does registration open?

Registration will open on March 1st, 2025.

Will there be classes for Pre-Premier dancers? How will the classes be divided?

Yes. Each dancer attending must know at least:

  • Fling (4)

  • Sword (2&1)

  • Seann Truibhas (3&1)

  • Strathspey and either a Reel of Tulloch or Highland Reel

  • Lilt (4) and/or Flora (4)

Classes will not be appropriate for Primary/Beginner dancers unless they know the dances listed above. Dancers will be grouped by age, not by category.

Will there be sessions for my partner or spouse if they attend?

Yes! There will be special "Enthusiast" classes focusing on health and wellness.

Is there a meal-only option for attendees?

No.

What meals are included in registration?

All registration tracks include: breakfast & lunch on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.

Can I register for just one day?

No, single-day registration is not available.

Can a dancer’s parent attend the conference as an Enthusiast?

Yes.

Where will the conference classes and lectures be held?

All sessions will take place at the Horseshoe Las Vegas Center Strip Hotel and Casino, which is connected to the Paris Las Vegas Hotel. It takes approximately 5 minutes to walk indoors from Paris to the Horseshoe.

I have food allergies. Will there be meal options for me?

We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate dietary restrictions based on the hotel offerings. However, if no suitable option is available, there will be no discount or refund on the registration fee.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Full refund, if canceled before July 1st, less a $50 cancellation fee and a $5 credit card administration fee.

No refunds for cancellations after July 1st for any reason.

How do the participant tracks work?

During registration, you will select a track tailored to your role and interests:

  • Enthusiast Track – Focuses on health, wellness, and Highland dance culture, covering topics like nutrition, fitness, injury prevention, and dancer well-being. This is ideal for those passionate about Highland dance but not actively performing.

  • Dancer Track – Offers sessions on technique, choreography, and performance tips. Dancers may also attend Enthusiast sessions to learn about maintaining health and performance longevity.

  • Professional Track – Open to teachers, judges, and adjudicators, with access to all sessions, including teaching strategies, technique refinement, and competition/adjudication insights. This track provides the most comprehensive experience.

What qualifications do I need to register as a professional?

A professional must hold a current qualification (Associate, Member, or Fellow) with BATD, SDTA, or UKA or be a member of the RSOBHD worldwide Judges Panel. 
Those with qualifications from non-RSOBHD organizations are also welcome to attend.
